Rai Way signs a memorandum of understanding with SIDiMa
Through the signing of a specific agreement with SIDiMa - Italian Disability Manager Society - and participation in the "manifesto of the disability manager"Rai Way confirms its attention to the creation of an inclusive and protective working environment for employees with disabilities and for caregivers involved in assisting family members in difficult situations. Rai Way and SIDiMa will work together for the definition of training and information courses and for the implementation of management policies and related technical-organisational solutions (so-called reasonable accommodations), aimed at the development of an inclusive business context.
SIDiMa is the Italian company that has been committed, for more than ten years, to the research and promotion of the culture of Disability Management in order to raise awareness and protect the rights of people with disabilities and respect for individuals in all aspects, dimensions and periods of their lives.
As pointed out by Stefania Cinque, Chief Human Resources Officer of Rai Way, the collaboration with SIDiMa marks a new step in the path of protection of inclusion and diversity undertaken by Rai Way; in fact, in line with best practices and in compliance with current regulations, the Company implements diversity inclusion policies as part of the strategy of management and enhancement of human resources and adopts corporate welfare practices and tools to create flexible working environments and conditions that are attentive to people's needs.
