Aldo Mancino


Born in Livorno in 1964, he graduated in Industrial Technology Engineering with an economic-organisational focus (Management Engineering) from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1991 .

In 1992, he joined Italstrade S.p.A., an international construction company, with a leading position in transport infrastructure, acting as assistant to the Head of Purchasing and Logistics.

Between 1994 and 1995, he was Head of Purchasing and Production at ANSA, the leading Italian news agency, becoming Head of Strategic Planning over the following two years.

In 1998 he joined RAI – Radiotelevisione italiana S.p.A. as Head of the Offer of Services in the Group's Broadcasting and Distribution Division.
In 2000, the Rai Broadcasting and Distribution Division was incorporated into Rai Way S.p.A. and Mr. Mancino was appointed Head of Marketing and Sales with direct responsibility for all commercial activities, focusing on site sharing and co-siting with Mobile Network Operators in order to improve the value of Rai Way’s assets and infrastructure. In 2006, he was also given responsibility for the RAI/Rai Way Service Contract.

In 2007, he became General Manager of Rai Way, appointed by the Board of Directors, a role confirmed for two further terms in 2012 and 2014, leading all operations and executing company strategy, with full responsibility for bottom-line factors including company portfolio services, network management and business development processes.
As General Manager, Mr. Mancino made a substantial contribution to the highly successful listing of Rai Way from Private to Public on the Milan Stock Exchange in 2014 and also managed the transition from analogue to digital terrestrial television, coordinating the Rai television network's digital-terrestrial switch-over project.

Starting April 2017, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Rai Way.
