Milan, 5 December 2025 - Ahead of the year's most prestigious theatre event, Rai Way is, as always, engaged in the installation and management of equipment for the 4k HDR signal transmission of the RAI Host Broadcaster, and in coordinating all radiofrequency equipment that will be used both for Rai's production of the event and for the customisation needed by the different national and international broadcasters in attendance.

Our specially installed on-site encoding equipment interfaces with the fibre optic connections and transports the live broadcast signal from La Scala theatre to the Saxa Rubra broadcasting site in Rome.

The coordination service has been in operation for quite some time to plan the frequencies that will be used at the event. Optimising frequency spectrum management is crucial for the success of large-scale live productions, ensuring that potential interference among the different radio microphones, radio cameras, and auxiliary communication systems is avoided. For this event, coordination activities will cover 30 intercom systems, 20 In-Ear Monitor and return audio systems, 4 Radio Cameras and 110 Radio Microphones.
