Rai Way Recognised at the Milano Audiovisual Forum 2025 for its innovative technologies

Rai Way took part in the Milano Audiovisual Forum 2025, the annual event that brings together leading national and international players from the broadcasting and media industries — a unique occasion for discussion, collaboration and knowledge sharing across the sector.

Milan, 10 October 2025 – At the end of the Forum’s opening day, Rai Way received the award for “IMPLEMENTATION OF INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES”, a recognition that highlights the Company’s commitment to developing advanced digital infrastructures in support of the entire audiovisual ecosystem. The award confirms Rai Way’s role as a key player in the digital transformation of the industry.

During the event, Roberto Zarra, Head of New Business & Sales and Deputy Manager at Rai Way, spoke in the keynote session “Content Providers and Infrastructure Operators: Convergences and Integration Models”. In his address, he illustrated how integrated infrastructures and digital services can support broadcasters and content providers throughout the entire content value chain — from acquisition and secure storage to multi-platform delivery.

Zarra presented Rai Way’s end-to-end approach and its portfolio of integrated digital solutions, including the Company’s Edge CDN, Edge Data Centres, Cloud Object Storage, and Private Cloud.

Rai Way was also invited to contribute to the second day of the Forum, during the keynote session “Beyond the Screen: Gaming and Audiovisuals Towards a Convergent Ecosystem”. This provided an opportunity to further explore the strategic role of Rai Way’s Edge Content Delivery Network in supporting the gaming and eSports industries — sectors that demand high reliability and low-latency networks.

Rai Way extends its thanks to Tonio Di Stefano, President of HD Forum Italia, and to the entire organising committee for promoting such an important occasion for strategic dialogue and shared vision on the future of the audiovisual sector.
