Tivùsat 2025 Roadshow: Innovation, engagement and value in the region

Pomezia, 1 December 2025 - The Tivùsat 2025 Roadshow concluded on 27 November in Pomezia .

The event brought together industry operators - from business to consumer - and local representatives, with greetings from Mayor Veronica Felici and speeches by Tivù, Rai, Rai Way, EI Towers and Confartigianato Imprese.

The event served as a space for discussion and meeting, where the following topics were addressed:

  • Phasing out, starting in 2026, the Tiger Tivùsat smartcards, which are still used by approximately 2 million users today;
  • Evolution of the way content is used by end users;
  • The changing role of installers and system engineers, responsible for the integration of different technologies – from Wi-Fi to fibre optics, from DVB-T to satellite;
  • Collaboration between distribution platforms, from digital terrestrial to satellite to IP, to ensure an optimal quality experience.

Rai Way, as a sponsor of the initiative alongside Tivùsat, is involved as an enabler of opportunities and innovation, owing to its capability to provide infrastructure and integrated digital solutions for the broadcasting and distribution of media content.

With its seven stops, Tivùsat 2025 Roadshow consolidates its goal: to build value across the country. The Roadshow travelled across Italy, from Florence to Milan, via Bologna, Catania, Salerno, Pordenone and finally Pomezia, involving installers, plant engineers and industry operators in sessions of updates and exchange. Participation exceeded expectations, with a 40% increase over the target in the first five events, highlighting the significance of direct engagement with experts.

Rai Way values its involvement in this project as a chance to strengthen its presence in the area and develop collaborative spaces that facilitate the ongoing improvement of the service. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the organisers, representatives of institutions and associations, and all those who supported the success of this initiative.
